Odds for the 2011 Super Bowl are out, and the Bears’ odds may not be as bad as you expect.
Based on everything I’ve read (and wrote), anything slightly better than the 100/1 odds the really crappy teams (Rams, Lions, etc.) get would seem appropriate. But in Vegas’ eye, the Bears are in the mix with some recent playoff teams, according to odds set by Bodog.
The Bears’ 30/1 odds are even with Atlanta and Cincinnati. These odds are also slightly better than Arizona — Oh, the terrible things that happen when Matt Leinart is the quarterback — and Houston, who had the youngest starting lineup in 2009 and finished with a four-game winning streak.
