The New Orleans Saints won the Super Bowl … Drew Brees was named MVP … I guess, technically, the award can’t be given to Sean Payton … Compared to the close-to-the-end game last season that drew greatest Super Bowl ever praise, Super Bowl XLIV was so much more well played … Only 8 penalties, compared to 18 last season; fewer turnovers (only one yesterday); and just, overall, a fine game by both teams.
