What it all means:
Without referencing the connection between Indiana’s NBA squad and the second-most up-tempo team in the league, all signs point to this game having a lot of possessions. Since January, the Bulls have increased their Pace average by more than a possession per game. And as they creep towards becoming a top-10 team in playing fast, the Pacers trail only Golden State.
Bulls injury report: Joakim Noah is listed as day-to-day, according to ESPN.com. He did practice on Tuesday.
Pacers injury report: Danny Granger is day-to-day; he missed the Pacers’ last game for personal family reasons. According to the Indianapolis Star, “Coach Jim O’Brien said he doesn’t know when he’ll return to the team.”
