The Celtics blog Red's Army is at Team USA practice in Vegas and he caught this moment between Tom Thibodeau and Derrick Rose after Day 2. You can't make out what they're talking about and there are no emphatic gestures that suggest Thibodeau's coaching Rose on one particular part of his game or another; still, it's a cool moment. I picture Derrick Rose smirking as he says this because he knows the rest of the league is in trouble (Per K.C. Johnson): "It's there; I have a consistent 3-point shot now," Rose said Wednesday night. "You'll see. I just have so much confidence in my jump shot now. It's coming along so good. I think we all know who to blame for this -- Chris Bosh. Even Dwyane Wade gives him credit: "But it came down to Chris, and his decision to come here... unfortunately it did not work out, but Chicago still has my heart," Wade said of his hometown. Things haven't gone well since that decision.

Bulls sign Boozer to 5-year, $75 million deal Chicago Bulls | (2)
Yep, we're excited too. There have been arguments about who's better -- David Lee or Carlos Boozer. I wanted Boozer, though. So at least in my mind, they got the best player available -- besides LeBron, of course. If it counters the Knicks' addition of Amar'e Stoudemire and makes LeBron think a little bit more about his decision, hard to find a problem with this decision to sign LeBron. Even if it's bad money in year four or five, it's worth the risk. [Update] Bulls website says the deal is for $75 million, not $80 million.
