No Noah; no Deng; no chance vs. Atlanta Chicago Bulls, Game Wrap | (0)
Joakim Noah and Luol Deng are great for games against the Hawks, and other teams this athletic and long. The Hawks' never-ending list of long-armed, athletic, 6'9" guys need to be shadowed by similarly built defenders; without Deng and Noah, the Bulls didn't have their two best. Especially defensively, this was an issue; it didn't help matters on the boards, either. Explanation: not necessary. The Bulls aren't talented enough to lose two of their three best players. Rose scores 22, but Bulls need more Chicago Bulls, Game Wrap | (0)
First of all, this was my first extended look at the Bulls' new additions. They definitely weren't the biggest problem in the loss, but they also don't improve on any of the team's current problems: consistent offense; someone to replace Joakim Noah's rebounding, as he continues to play limited minutes; coaching, etc. The issues switched jerseys numbers, but didn't change. In fact, just based on this game, you can say the Bulls' added a problem: The Bulls aren't as athletic in the front court, and the Wizards took advantage of this. NBA Continue Reading...
