After the first-inning, it looked like another bad day for the White Sox. With two outs in the inning, a single up the middle by Bobby Abreu was followed by an inexplicable error by Jermaine Dye on a line drive off the bat of Vladimir Guerrero. The ball, traveling at about head level, tipped off the glove of Dye, Abreu scored, and memories of bad defense costing the Sox games began to creep into mind.
